Sophie Hyde
Sophie's parents founded one of Europe's oldest performing arts management agencies in the 1960s, managing prominent Opera Singers, Conductors and Producers. Her stage debut was at the Royal Opera House at the age of just nine — a foundation that set the tone for an extraordinary musical life.
She studied at the London College of Music, gaining her LLCM and ALCM qualifications, before completing her post-graduate Opera Studies at Trinity College of Music. Her godparents include the legendary opera singers Plácido Domingo and Martina Arroyo.
Sophie has been mentored by Mary Hammond — the vocal coach behind West End productions including Les Misérables and Mamma Mia, and recording artists including Coldplay and Katherine Jenkins. Sophie's son was crowned BBC Chorister of the Year 2016 and awarded a place in the National Children's Orchestra, a testament to her family's extraordinary musical legacy.
